Two women of Lusaka’s George compound have allegedly been raped and murdered by unknown people.
Ms Alice Mulala narrated to a Komboni Radio News crew that rushed to the scene that her younger sister identified as Mwangala Mulala aged 37 years and her niece Sandra Phiri aged 27 were found dead in their two roomed house.
Ms Mulala disclose that the incident the happened between 22:00 hours on Tuesday and 06:00 hours on Wednesday, 17th April 2019.
She has since appealed to well wishers to assist the bereaved family in any way possible as they do not have resources to host a funeral.
And Police Deputy Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has also confirmed the murder case of the two women of the same family.
Mr Hamoonga explained that Police visited the scene of crime and found the deceased bodies lying in a pool of blood facing upwards and three; Six inches blocks were found next to the bodies stained with blood.
He says the bodies of the deceased are in UTH mortuary awaiting postmortem.
