A two weeks old baby has been burned to ashes in a one-roomed house in Lusaka Ng’ombe area.
This happened last evening around 19 hours when the mother of the deceased went to purchase groceries by the nearby shops.
Sister to the mother told komboni radio that her sister went to the stores to purchase groceries and left her baby sleeping in a room with a candle burning.
She said By the time she was coming back she found her baby was burnt to death.
The mother identified as Anastasia mwale is currently in police custody at Ng’ombe police.
