Two people have died while one person is seriously injured after they were involved in a road traffic accident in Mongu District.
Road Transport and Safety Agencies (RTSA) Head of Public Relations Fredrick Mubanga who confirmed the incident to Komboni radio News said the accident occurred on Sunday around 18 30 hours.
Mr. Mubanga said the accident happened after the driver of Kondwani Bus services hit into an oncoming truck.
Mr. Mubanga identified the deceased as Morie Mufaya and Mwiya Liwilu adding that 19 other people who were injured in the accident are admitted to Lewanika General Hospital.
He added that RTSA has since launched investigations to establish the cause of the accident.
The RTSA Head of Public Relations has since cautioned motorists to observe traffic rules to avoid accidents.
