TRADERS CALL FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TOILETS AT JOHN HOWARD MARKET

Traders at John Howard market have expressed concern over the lack of toilets at the trading place.

In an interview with Komboni radio news, Paul Katebe complained that the lack of toilet facilities has forced traders to resort to relieving themselves in empty packets of opaque beer a situation he says is posing danger to the traders and their customers.

And another traders Peter Kapande has called on the area councilor to start visiting his ward in order to appreciate challenges being experienced by members of the community.

The traders have also urged the councilor to facilitate the construction of toilets in the market in order to prevent the outbreak of waterborne diseases.
