Tokyo way market has started operating without toilets.
A Komboni radio news crew that visited the market found traders occupying the trading spaces.
And traders talked to are elated that that council has allowed them to trade in the market but appealed to the local authority to quickly construct toilets.
The traders complained that currently they are forced to scout for toilets in Kamwala trading area saying this is inconveniencing as they are forced to leave their businesses.
Tokyo Way Market has been opened as an alternative trading place for vendors who were displaced from the Central Business District (CBD) following government’s decision to ban vending.
