A juvenile aged three and six months yesterday died on the spot in Lundazi after a wall of a house collapsed on him as he was passing close to the same house.
Eastern Province Commissioner of Police Alex Chilufya who confirmed the development to Komboni radio news today says the deceased has been identified as Charles Nkhoma of Dunda 2 compound in Lundazi district.
Commissioner Chilufya says the father to the deceased Mr Benard Nkhoma aged 42 of the same area reported the sudden and unnatural death of his child to police in Lundazi yesterday.
The Eastern Province Police chief says the body of the child was inspected and found with a crashed head.
The Body has since been deposited in Lundazi District Hospital Mortuary awaiting burial.
