The opposition MMD says the current economic recovery plan that the government has drawn requires consented efforts from all stakeholders for it to yield results.

MMD national secretary Raphael Nakachinda recently told komboni news that the austerity measures being taken such as the removal of the fuel subsidies will enable the country broaden its revenue base and ultimately invest in areas that will promote economic growth.
Mr. Nakachinda has since urged the Zambians to bear with the government and allow it fully implement the measures that are aimed at resuscitating the country’s economy.
Mr. Nakachinda is however positive that the economic recovery plan that the country has adopted will be able to boost economic growth if embraced by all well-meaning Zambians.
