THE CONDITION OF A 32 YEAR OLD MATERO WOMAN WHO ATTEMPTED TO COMMIT SUICIDE IS SAID TO BE STABLE

The condition of 32 year old woman of Matero Township who attempted to commit suicide by taking Doom pesticide is said to be stable.
The woman identified as Mirriam Mulenga is said to have given the pesticide to her three children out of which two hdied and were buried today while the surviving child is still admitted to hospital.
University Teaching Hospital (UTH) acting public relations officer Natalie Mashikolo has disclosed to Komboni radio news today that Mulenga’s condition is now stable.
Ms. Mashikolo has also disclosed that the hospital is currently trying to organize a counselor to help Mulenga with trauma-counseling therapy.
She added that the surviving child will be in the custody of the social welfare department once discharged.
