SIAVONGA RESIDENTS URGED TO GO FOR ROUTINE MEDICAL CHECKUPS

Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has urged residents in the district to take time and visit the Health Centres for routine medical checkups.

Speaking in an interview with Komboni Radio News, Mr Kanyama says it is important for members of the public to go for routine medical checkup even when they are not feeling sick.

He says this is the only way the district will have health residents who will contribute to the economic development of Siavonga town.

Meanwhile, Mr Kanyama has noted with concern the increase in defilement cases that are being recorded in the district.

He has since warned that perpetrators of this act that the law will not spare them if found wanting.
