Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has directed the Zambia Police and all security wings in the District to coordinate and monitor individuals coming into Siavonga.
And Mr Kanyama has called for intensified police patrols in Siavonga in order to protect public institutions such as markets and other facilities from being set on fire.
And Mr Kanyama has described the gutting of City market in Lusaka as unfortunate.
The Siavonga DC has since appealed to residents of Siavonga district and market chairpersons to report any suspicious looking people to law enforcement agencies.
