SCHOOL AUTHORITIES IN SIAVONGA IMPLORED NOT TO SEND AWAY PUPILS WHO HAVE NOT PAID SCHOOL FEES

Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has implored school authorities in the district not to send away pupils who have not paid school fees.
In an interview with Komboni Radio News, Mr Kanyama disclosed that school heads have since been directed to admit pupils who have made it to grade 8 and 10.
Mr Kanyama says he has received disturbing reports that school authorities in Siavonga are sending back pupils for failure to pay school fees.
The District Commissioner has warned that school heads who will go against this directive will be disciplined.
He also urged parents to seek audience with school managers if they are unable to settle school fees for their children by writing a commitment letter stating when they will be able to pay the fees.
Meanwhile, Mr Kanyama has disclosed that Siavonga district has again received 370 litres of army worm chemicals.
