United Progressive People’s President Saviour Chishimba has disclosed that government intends to increase the pump price of fuel this week by 48 percent.
Dr Chishimba has revealed that he has information that fuel pump prices will be increased by 48 percent a move he said will be too stressful for Zambians who are already struggling with the high cost of living.
Dr Chishimba says it is disappointing that government has continued raising income by increasing tariffs and imposing costly toll gates among other harsh actions.
And efforts to get a comment from Chief government spokesperson Kampamba Mulenga failed by broadcast time.
