RESIDENTS REAFFIRM CALLS FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE ZECO ROAD

Residents of Lusaka’s George compound have reiterated calls on the authorities to work on the dilapidated ZECO road.
Ms Lilian Muswayo has told a Komboni radio News crew that visited the area today that despite the temporal maintenance works that were recently carried out, there is need for the authorities to rehabilitate the road.
She complained that residents and motorists are still having challenging using the same road especially when there is a heavy down pour.
And another resident Justine Kangwa has called on the area councilor to ensure that the issue of dilapidated roads in the area is sorted out once and for all.
Recently, residents of George compound closed the Zeco road in protest against what they said termed as failure by the authorities to work on the dilapidated ZECO ROAD.
