Lusaka residents have called on the Ministry of Health to come up with
a deliberate policy that will regulate the sale of herbal remedies
especially the sexual enhancers.
Speaking in separate interviews with Komboni radio news, the residents
said that sale of herbal remedies possess a danger to the health of
the consumers as the contents of most of the herbal concoctions are
not known.
The residents have charged that the sexual enhancers have could have
led to the number of sexual offences that the country has continued to
record.
But some men charged that they are forced to use sexual booster
because women have resorted to using herbs such as Insunko which makes
them hyper sexually.
And check at one of the makeshift stalls by Komboni radio found herbal
remedies including sexual enhancers without showing the contents on
the labels being sold to the members of the public.
The herbal remedies did not also have expiry dates and names of the
manufacturers.
