Some Lusaka residents have called on the government to institute measures that will see the reduction in prices of other essential commodities other than mealie-meal.
The residents have noted the need for the government to ensure that the cost of living is reduced in order to address the soaring poverty levels in the country.
One of the residents only identified as Amake Chola says the residents are elated with the drastic fall in mealie-meal prices but called for the reduction in the prices of other essential commodities.
