Residents of Lusaka’s Linda compound have repeated calls on the local authority to conduct routine maintenance of drainages.
The residents have noted with concern that most drainages in the community are clogged due to what they termed as lack of routine maintenance by the local authority.
A resident only identified as Chola said in as much as residents appreciate the construction of drainages in that area, there is need for the local authority to ensure that the drains are properly maintained to allow the free flow of water.
