REMOVAL OF GARBAGE BIN ALONG KAMLOOPS ROAD PUZZLES RESIDENTS

BY KALALUKA MUSHAUKWA
Residents of Kalingalinga compound have expressed concern with the decision by the local authority to remove the garbage bin that was placed along Kamloops road.
The residents have complained that this situation has forced residents to start throwing garbage in undesignated and other open places.
The residents have questioned why the local authority decided to remove the bin that was placed in the area for residents to dump their garbage.
They further complained that the uncollected heaps of garbage along Kamloops road are posing a serious disease outbreak especially during this rainy season.
And efforts to get a comment from the Lusaka city council public relations unit failed by broadcast time.
