RECURRING SEWER BLOCKAGES WORRY CHUNGA RESIDENTS

Residents of Chunga Township have expressed concern over the sewer blockages that have persisted in the area.

Speaking in an interview with Komboni radio news, Ms Melody Mwansa complained that the situation has become worse and the stench eminating from the sewer effluent has become worse.

Ms Mwansa further complained that the sewer effluent has started flowing in the drainage along Nelson Mandela Primary School a situation she says is posing danger to the health of school going children.

And Ms Christine Mwape has since called on the area councilor to engage the Lusaka water and Sewerage Company to find a lasting solution to the recurring sewer blockages.
