PUPILS LEARNING UNDER A TREE IN MUNGWI DISTRICT

More than 150 pupils of Luango Community School in Chiwanga village of Mungwi district are learning under the trees after their two grass thatched classroom roofs were blown off early this year.

Parents are appealing to the government to intervene and reconstruct the classrooms to allow the pupils to learn in more conducive structures.

The parents made an appeal when Malole Member of Parliament Christopher Yaluma visited the school yesterday.

And Malole Member of Parliament, Christopher Yaluma said he is aware of the dilapidated state in which a number of schools in his constituency are.

Mr. Yaluma assured the parents that he will do everything possible to ensure that Luango Community School is rehabilitated.

He donated 20 pockets of cement towards the rehabilitation of the said school.
