Police in Petauke district have charged Rodgers Mwanza 28 and not 38 as earlier reported with indecent assault on female.
Police spokesperson Esther Katongo who confirmed the development says the suspect has also been charged with production and circulation of obscene material contrary to section 177 (a) of the penal code chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.
Mrs Katongo says the suspect is scheduled to appear in court soon.
The suspect was arrested last week in Lilongwe-Malawi where he had gone to hide after a video went viral on social media where the man was sexually abusing an unconscious woman while filming the ordeal.
In the video the man filmed a naked drunk woman and fondled her private parts while inviting other men to join him.
The man is further heard boasting that he had bought a lot of beer to intoxicate the average aged woman.
