PICK N PAY WORKERS DOWN TOOLS DEMANDING FOR BETTER CONDITIONS

Pick and Pay workers across the country have downed tools demanding for salary increments and improved conditions of service.

A check by Komboni radio news crew at Levy Junction Mall, found the protesting workers chanting slogans denouncing their management.

The workers are demanding for K500 salary increment and have rejected the K 200 increment proposed by management.

The protesting workers have complained that they work for over 8 hours without overtime allowances.

The workers have since vowed not to return to work until their demands are met.
