The Patriotic Front (PF) has condemned threats of violence allegedly made by UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, and Mazabuka MP Garry Nkombo in Chilanga District on 3rd May 2018.
PF Media Director Sunday Chanda says the UPND Vice President is reported to have instructed his supporters in Chilanga that the Campaign would be Panga for Panga which he said Mr Mwamba was literally calling for violence.
Mr Chanda has charged that the alleged sentiments are uncalled for and should there be any violence in Chilanga Constituency, the UPND Vice President and his counterpart the Mazabuka Parliamentarian must be held personally responsible.
The PF Media Director has since called for clean and violence-free campaigns and urged PF supporters to exercise maximum restraint when provoked by the Opposition.
