Parents of Chinika compound have called on government to construct a secondary school in the area.

Speaking in an interview with Komboni radio news a resident only identified as Bana Mary said there is need for government to take the education facilities closer to the community in order to encourage the youths to pursue their education.
Bana Mary explained that the pupils have to cover long distances in order to access schools in other communities a situation she said was regrettable.
And another parent Joyce Mwanza has expressed concern that most pupils have started shunning away from school and urged the ministry of general education to ensure that a secondary school is built in chinika.
