Parents in Garden-Chilulu Compound have expressed concern over the continued abuse of alcohol and drugs by children.
In an interview with Komboni radio news, a parent only identified as Catherine expressed sadness that a named bar in that community has been allowing underage children to patronizing the drinking place.
She has since cautioned her fellow parents to discipline their children and ensure that they do not engage in bad vices such as alcohol and drug abuse.
And another parent also condemned bar owners who are allowing children to patronize their premises in the name of making money.
He has since called on the local authority to move in and clamp down on all bar owners who are allowing underage children to patronize their premises.
