NHA WORKERS DEMAND FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING SALARY ARREARS

Unionized workers at National Housing Authority (NHA) have continued to protest demanding to be paid their outstanding 12 months’ salary arrears.

One  of  the  affected  workers  who  sought  anonymity  for  fear  of  victimization, disclosed to Komboni radio news that they have not been paid since March last year.

He also complained that some workers whose contracts expired have continued to work without any documentation.

The workers have since pleaded with government to intervene in the matter as they are now failing to fend for their families.

And efforts to get a comment from management failed by broadcast time.
