NEWLY CONSTRUCTED MARKET IN KAUNDA SQUARE SET TO OPEN

The newly constructed market in Kaunda square will soon be opened to members of the public following the construction of ablution blocks.

Munali ward 33 councilor Sylvester Mulenga attributed the delay to open the market to the construction of toilets which has since been completed.

And the civic leader says the new market structure which will accommodate over one thousand traders will bring an end to street vending in the community.

Mr Mulenga also disclosed that traders have already been allocated trading space in the market that was initially commissioned last month.
