The mystery of a girl who allegedly died two years ago and has since resurfaced has taken a new twist as another family has emerged claiming that she is their daughter.
Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga who confirmed the development to Komboni Radio News says another family has come up and identified the girl in question as theirs but with a different name as Mwaba Mwape.
Mrs Katanga disclosed that an identification parade was conducted yesterday in Ndola where the girl was asked to identify her real parents and strangely enough the girl positively identified the second family too as her parents and was able to identify them by name including other relatives who had accompanied the second family.
The Copperbelt Police chief says investigations have continued stating that DNA samples have since been taken from both sets of parents who are claiming that she is their daughter as well as the purported resurrected girl to determine who the rightful parents are and whether the girl really is Winnie the one who died two years ago.
