Residents of Lusaka’s Misisi compound have repeated calls on the local authority to address the mushrooming illegal bars in that community.
The residents have complained to Komboni Radio most of the bars in the area are operating illegally and some do not even have toilets for patrons.
The residents also complained of the noise pollution being caused by the loud music being played in these bars a situation they said is disturbing school going children in the area.
And the residents have noted with concern that most of the bars in the area are being used as hideouts by thugs who are terrorising residents at night.
