A concerned resident of Kasama’s Milenge village Fidelis Chinkonti bemoans the bad state of the road leading to the area.
In an interview Mr. Chinkonti laments that the deplorable state of Kasama-Milenge road is adversely affecting the movement of people, goods and services.
He states that vehicles using the road especially those hauling farm produce face numerous break downs due to its pathetic state.
Mr. Chinkonti adds that it is sad to note that the Milenge road which further leads to a royal burial site for deceased children of Bemba chiefs is seemingly neglected.
He says the Kasama Municipal Council should urgently work on the road; saying even merely grading it would be appreciated.
