Residents of Lusaka’s Mazyopa compound have repeated calls on the need to improve water supply in that community.
The residents are demanding that the number of communal water kiosks be increased to adequately cater for the growing population of people in the area.
In an interview with Komboni radio news today, a resident Kasiya Mulenga says the community currently has one water kiosk servicing over one hundred households.
She stressed that the community needs more water drawing points in order to avert the critical water shortage being experienced.
And another resident Helen Daka has since appealed to the councilor and area member of parliament to respond to their plea.
