A man in his thirties has been discovered dead in a well at a house in Matero’s Chingwele area.
The deceased who has been identified as Letter Phiri is suspected to have drowned in the well on Saturday night.
However, some residents have suspected foul play and have called on the police to thoroughly investigate the matter.
The residents have since demanded an investigation by the police into the matter.
Police from Matero have since picked the body and deposited it in the UTH Mortuary awaiting postmortem and burial.
