A man believed to be in his fifties has been discovered dead in drainage along Luapula road in Kamwala residential area.
The unidentified man is suspected to have been attacked as he was found with bruises on his body.
And one of the residents Rev Jeremiah Daka who was found at the scene by a Komboni radio News Crew which rushed to the scene, has cautioned residents to desist from moving at night unaccompanied.
Another female resident who lives a few metres away from the scene suspects that the deceased was attacked elsewhere as residents did not hear any screams of anyone being attacked.
The residents have since appealed to the police to intensify night patrols in order to protect the lives of residents.
