LUSAMBO CALLS FOR ATTITUDE CHANGE AMONG CIVIL SERVANTS

Lusaka Province Minster Bowman Lusambo has called for change of attitude among civil servants in the country.
Speaking when he paid an impromptu visit to Kafue district, Mr Lusambo says he has noted with concern that the public service is marred with unprofessionalism and laissez-faire attitude among some civil servants.
He charged that some civil servants have become too cozy and are frustrating government’s development agenda.
Mr Lusambo has since emphasized that his office will continue making impromptu visits in government ministries in the province to ensure that civil servants are executing their duties professionally.
Meanwhile, the Lusaka Province Minster has disclosed that government will soon close COMESA market that was recently gutted by fire to pave way for the construction of a modern market.
Mr Lusaka has since appealed to traders at COMESA market to corporate and move to an alternative trading space that has been allocated to them.
