Lusaka District Commissioner Captain Davison Mulenga has expressed happiness with the progress made on the construction of a Police Station and Housing units in Kanyama compound.
Captain Mulenga says 95 percent of works have so far been done in the construction of 18 medium cost houses and 16 low cost houses for police officers.
The Lusaka District Commissioner has since appealed to would be occupants of the houses to maintain high standards of cleanness and guard the properties jealously.
And Kanyama ward-10 councilor Brighton Bilumba has commended government for the construction of 34 housing units saying this will ease the work of police officers.
