Residents of Linda compound have called for the installation of more water kiosks in the area.
In an interview with a Komboni Radio News crew that visited the area today, the residents complained that they have for a long time struggled with access to clean and safe drinking water hence the need for the authorities to install more water kiosks.
The residents charged that the available water sources are not enough to carter for the growing population of people in the community.
Mr Joseph Tembo lamented that residents are forced to cover long distances in search of the commodity a situation he described as unfortunate especially in this era.
And another resident Dennis Milimo who also echoed similar sentiments challenged the area councilor to visit the community in order to appreciate the challenges residents are facing.
