Residents of Sangalala area in Chilanga District have complained bitterly over the alleged plans by unknown people to evict them from their land.
The residents alleged that a named agent has allegedly invaded their residential plots and is selling them to other developers.
The irate residents claimed that they are the right owners of the land in question where they have lived for over 12 years despite the fact that the issuance of title deeds has been delayed.
And the residents have wondered why the Chilanga District Council seems to be very reluctant in resolving the matter.
Meanwhile, the residents have vowed that they will fight for their land should the relevant authorities fail to address the matter.
