Residents of Lusaka’s Kuku compound have bemoaned the high levels of crime in that area.
The residents say it is unfortunate that crime has increased in Kuku compound despite having a Police Post nearby.
The residents complained to a Komboni Radio News Crew that visited the area today that thieves break into people’s houses and attack them both during the night and day.
The residents have attributed the high levels of crime in the community to lack of jobs in the country.
The residents have since appealed to the police to intensify night patrols in order to restore order in the community.
