KAUNDA SQUARE STAGE ONE RESIDENTS CALL FOR POLICE PATROLS

Residents of Lusaka’s Kaunda Square stage one have called for intensified police night patrols following thieves that have raided the area.

The residents have disclosed to Komboni Radio news that there is a group of youths calling themselves the fluffy boys that has invaded that community and is breaking-in into houses and attacking unsuspecting members of the community.

Paul Chola lamented that residents are now living in fear of being attacked by the thieves hence the call on the police to intensify patrols in order to curb crime.

And when contacted, Munali Ward Councilor Sylvester Mulenga said he is equally concerned with the increased crime levels in his ward and assured residents that the police and the community neighborhood watch have started patrolling the community.
