Residents of Kabanana compound have called on the Zambia electrical supply corporation-Zesco to work on the low power voltage being experienced in that area.
One of the concerned residents Mary Bwalya has disclosed to Komboni radio news that new houses near the Kabanana Catholic Church are the most affected.
She complained that her block making business has been negatively affected due to low power voltage being supplied to that community.
And Derrick Ng’ambi another concerned resident has urged the power utility company to improve its services to meet the expectations of the consumers.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ng’ambi has urged the power utility firm to come up with a fixed load sheding time table to enable residents plan for their daily activities.
Efforts to get a comment from Zesco spokesperson Henry Kapata failed as his mobile phone went un answered by broadcast time.
