Residents of Lusaka’s Kabanana compound have bemoaned the failure by their elected leaders to visit the community.
The residents have complained to a Komboni Radio News crew which visited the community today that the area has lagged behind in terms of development owing to failure by their elected leaders to visit the area in order to appreciate challenges they are facing.
The residents cited lack of social amenities such as health facilities, Police Post as some of the areas that need urgent attention from the authorities.
They charged that lack of police presence in the community has seen an increase in criminal activities.
