Residents of John Howard compound are demanding for the installation of piped water in that community.

The residents have complained that the lack of piped water in the community has proved to be challenging as they are forced to pay for the commodity from people who have water tanks.

Ms Selina Sakala has since called upon the area councilor to facilitate the installation of water pipes in the community in order to address the water challenges.

Another resident Mwati Phiri also complained that life has been unbearable especially for households that have flushable toilets due to the lack of water in the community.

She also pleaded with the civic leaders in the area to fulfill their campaign promises as water is a commodity that people cannot do without.
