Residents of Marapodi compound have expressed happiness over the installation of piped water in that area which they say is long overdue.
In an interview with Komboni Radio News, Mrs Esther Banda notes that once completed, the installation of piped water in Marapodi compound will help address the water challenges that residents have faced for many years.
She further observed that this will also help members of the community concentrate on other productive activities unlike the current situation where residents spend many hours fetching water for domestic use.
And another resident Mercy Kabwe has commended the government for finally coming to their aid.
