GREEN EAGLES HANDED THEIR FIRST DEFEAT IN THE LUSAKA DISTRICT DARTS PREMIER LEAGUE

Lusaka District Darts Premier League defending Champions Green Eagles were over the weekend handed their first defeat of the season.

The 2016 Champions and current log leaders who have played 10 games so far winning all their nine matches failed to maintain their 100 percent record when they were beaten 8-12 at home to sixth placed City in a week 10 fixture.

Despite the defeat, The Zambia National Service sponsored side is still top of the log with 27 points, five better than second placed Red Light who have 22 points with a game in hand.

In other week 10 results played over the weekend in the Lusaka District Darts Premier league, third placed Turtle Snippers played out to a 10 all draw against visiting State house.

Turtle Snippers have maintained their third position with 21 points after ten games played this season and are only one point better than 4th placed Chilanga who were also held at home via 10-10 score line by Banja.

Struggling UNZASSA who recorded their first win of the season last week, were held at home to a 10 all draw by relegation threatened ZAM Airport.

The full results for the week 10 fixture are as follows.

Ohlssons 8-Red Light 12, Ndeke 12-Red Arrows 8, Chapetwa 20-Kanyama 0, KEPS 14-ZASTI 6, AKA 12-Lusaka Tigers 8 while Cholembedwa and Nampundwe played out to a 10-10 draw.
