Southern African Alcohol Policy Alliance (SAAPA) has called on the government to quickly implement the alcohol levy following the adoption of the national alcohol policy.
SAAPA Communications specialist Jonas Ngulube has told Komboni Radio News that introducing the alcohol levy will enable the government to raise money needed to effectively implement the policy.
Mr. Ngulube has told Komboni radio news that there is need for the national alcohol policy to be supported and implemented in order for alcohol abuse to be fought.
Mr. Ngulube also called for intensified sensitization of the legal and policy framework on alcohol management.
He noted that doing so will enable the citizens participate and help in the implementation of the national alcohol policy.
