A Lusaka based truck driver has called on the Ministry of Labor to be more proactive in addressing various issues affecting workers in the country.
Base Chanda has told Komboni radio News that Zambian workers are being exploited especially by some foreign investors.
Mr. Chanda has questioned whether the legal framework on labor matters is effective enough to protect the interest of workers in the country.
He cited casualisation and low wages as some of the many issues affecting workers and called on the government to expedite the revision of the minimum wage.
