A concerned resident of Shimulamba village in Kasama has appealed to the government to consider paying home based care givers and Community Crime Prevention and Control Association (CCPCA) members.

Speaking in an interview, Mr Albert Silwamba said home based care givers and CCPCA members supplements government efforts especially in hard to reach communities by providing health and security services.

Mr. Silwamba said the two groups play a critical role in communities hence the need to appreciate them by giving them an incentive.

He lamented that due to their voluntary work some members end up compromising by asking for payment from complainants.
