GOVERNMENT RAISES OVER K300 MILLION IN ROAD TOLL FEES

Government says it has raised over K300 million from road toll fees between January and August this year.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka today, Housing and Infrastructure development Minister Ronald says government has demonstrated that it is viable to invest in the road sector.

Mr Chitotela also reiterated that government is committed to reduce conjunction on roads through the construction good road networks around the country.

And the Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister says the construction of the 1.2 billion US Dollars Lusaka-Ndola dual carriage way is part of the regional trunk road network.
