GOVERNMENT FARMS RESIDENTS CALL FOR THE LEGALIZATION OF THE COMMUNITY

Residents of government farms in Chungu Township have called on the area councilor to facilitate the legalization of that community.
In an interview with Komboni radio news, some residents complained that they do not have title deeds a situation that puts them at risk of losing their property in future.
The residents stressed that prior to the elections; the area councilor had promised to push for the title deeds from the local authority but wondered why the civic leader had gone quiet over the matter.
The residents who demanded that the area councilor expedites the acquisition of title deeds claimed that they have since paid the monies required to get the said documents.
And when contacted for a comment, Mwembeshi ward 27 Councilor, Kelvin Kaunda said he is currently engaging with the local authority on the matter and called for patience from residents urged the residents of government farms to patient.
