GARDEN HOUSE RESIDENTS BEMOAN LACK OF GOVERNMENT FACILITIES IN THE AREA

Residents of Lusaka’s Garden House area have bemoaned the luck of health facilities and government schools in that area.

Speaking in an interview with a Komboni radio news crew that visited the area today, Angela Nyambe complained that the absence of health facilities in the area has resulted in people covering long distances to seek medical attention.

Mrs Nyambe lamented that the current situation is even worse for expectant mothers as some end up giving birth on their way to the nearest health centre or in their houses.

Another resident who sought anonymity who also complained about the lack of government facilities has since called upon the area member of parliament to facilitate the construction of social amenities such as clinics and schools among others.
