Fire has the swept through a changing room at Kabwe General Hospital.
Kabwe Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube who confirmed the development to Komboni radio news disclosed that the fire started this morning in a changing room adding that the cause of the inferno has not yet been established.
And Mr. Ngulube has denied claims going around social media that the intensive care unit at Kabwe General Hospital has also been gutted.
He explained that only the smoke from the fire affected two patients who were admitted in the ICU but were later moved to another ward.
The Kabwe lawmaker says no property has been lost in the inferno and police have since instituted investigations to establish the cause of the fire.
